Nestwerk provides opportunities exactly where they’re needed. In socially disadvantaged neighborhoods of major cities, children and teens often lack access to sports and recreational facilities. Instead, many face problems at school and at home, experience poverty and neglect, and have no prospects for the future. In addition to free sports and recreational activities, Nestwerk also offers them support in finding apprenticeships. GLYNT supports Nestwerk’s work by providing regular internship opportunities for young people with the prospect of apprenticeships, making donations, and supporting various events, such as the “Day of Legends.”

The Hamburg Sportbund (HSB) is the umbrella organization for Hamburg’s sports clubs and associations and, with over 550,000 members, is the largest membership organization in the city of Hamburg. Through its engagement with policymakers, the media, and the public, it represents the shared interests of Hamburg’s sports community and thereby promotes the common good of the population. GLYNT regularly supports the HSB through donations and joint initiatives, such as the Sports Badge program for people with physical or intellectual disabilities.

Lebenshilfewerk Pinneberg operates the Eichenkamp workshop for people with disabilities and is one of the largest employers in the Pinneberg district. With a mission focused on rehabilitation and vocational integration, Lebenshilfewerk primarily provides training and employment opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities. GLYNT supports the work of Lebenshilfewerk through a variety of partnerships in the fulfillment of packaging and small-scale orders.
